

Dan Harvey Promoted To Vice President

Precision Gasket Company (PGC), a world-wide supplier that specializes in the design, engineering and production of turn-key “rugged use” subassemblies and components for major brand owners, announced today the promotion of Dan Harvey to the position of Vice President.

In announcing the appointment, Steve Hanson, President stated that Harvey will have responsibility for all aspects of PGC’s operations, including manufacturing, engineering, technology, supply chain and product development, as well as quality and facilities management.
Mr. Harvey joined Precision Gasket in 1999 as a project manager and quickly proved to be effective in achieving project success and was subsequently promoted to Director of Technology and Materials in 2000 and then to Director of Operations in 2001. During that period, he has helped transition the company into an award-winning design, engineering and manufacturer serving OEM’s worldwide by providing a unique capability to discover and diagnose ways to deliver value exponentially and improve an OEM’s competitive position.
Mr. Harvey has extensive engineering and management experience in technical industries having worked previously at Boston Scientific as a manufacturing engineer and operations supervisor. He holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has attended certificate programs at Harvard Business School. He is currently enrolled in the Minnesota Executive Program at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Harvey resides in Prior Lake, Minnesota with his family.
